Minta Viski is a Wagga Wagga local graphic design studio with a lot of love for the region and the stories of the people who live here. Their passion, and the creativity and bold design work they produce is reflected in their exceptionally strong branding.
The studio’s owner and lead designer Rach Viski had the concept for a unique approach to help her clients access one of her services - an animated process video. After creating the designs to follow the process steps, it was up to me to connect the beautiful hand-drawn designs with motion graphics.
Considering the placement of the video - client-facing website portals and email marketing campaigns, and the combination of their strong brand image and unique hand drawn-style, I aimed for a simple and elegant effect that respected the time and attention of her clients and accurately conveyed the comforting experience of working with Minta Viski.
This project is a great example of a creative use for motion graphics, but the generous testimonial from Rach says it better:
“…The ‘how to book with MV’ animation is one I still use to help communicate the process better.
It’s helped me to convert clients to book in a sprint more easily, through the friendly way it’s presented. The animation maintained the visual identity while bringing warmth and clarity to what was previously quite a lengthy and a text heavy explanation.
The impact was remarkable. It improved understanding of the creative sprint model, it reduced the time of the sales cycle from initial inquiry to booking, and it increased repeat bookings.
Clients have said watching the animation made them feel more comfortable booking in as it showed I cared enough to help step them through it, by investing in the animation…”
