Tortoise & Hare is a Customer Experience agency, focusing on the point of contact between major Australian businesses and the public to make every digital interaction as stress-free and engaging as possible. Their service is built on simplifying the complex, and they needed their branding to reflect that. The creative team had a concept for an animated video to tell a story that works with their marathon-themed name, major-corporation client base and strategic approach to CX design, and they approached me to help them bring it together.
I was briefed to create a logo animation, wordmark animation and an animated brand video, overlaying their videography with animated assets. The striking yellow line, a bold element of their brand, was used to guide the viewer through the video and visually represent the same message given in the voiceover - working together for long-term victories.
Throughout the project I was pleased to collaborate with the Tortoise & Hare team to combine videography with animation to complete their vision, resulting in a really interesting piece of mixed media with a powerful narrative.
