Maintaining a Creative Vision with Looping Animation

Plump Records is a Berlin-based record label known for funky, in-your-face music. To accompany their unique style of music, they’ve enlisted Sydney artist Jeff McCann to create illustrations for their EP releases, and I’ve had the pleasure of adapting his visuals into social media assets with animation.

Over the more than 15 pieces we’ve collaborated on - each with a fresh creative approach exploring different themes, I’ve employed a wide range of animation techniques to do justice to his uniquely fun and vibrant style. Each animation is a collaborative effort to draw attention to the artist through eye-catching, looping motion and meaningful illustration.

These graphics are posted on social media where Plump Records has been gaining a good deal of traction through consistent engagement, helping them promote their EP releases.
